While it offers a bit of fantasy flair, there are obvious characteristics of both spangenhelm and Crusader helmets. We have crafted this helmet in a rich dark metal finish to offer a textured and aged appeal. This finish is not only for aesthetic purposes though, it helps to protect against rust as well. The wide eyes offer increased visibility while a generous number of holes provide good air flow.Unlike other helmets, you wont need an arming cap with this one as it has been lined and padded on the inside. The padding is thoughtfully made from thick foam strips, and you can simply remove some if you need to make the sizing larger. If you need a small size, add more to the leather liner.
