For specific purposes, you will need a complete kit, including slingbacks and greaves. There are tournaments where you do not need any leg-rails. Certain armor types protect your legs almost to your knees, so you do not need greaves. So we designed this kit to combine fighters the necessary elements of the leg protector in a way that they now need to add or remove from upper or lower parts of their kit. This armor is made of 1.5 mm (16 ga) stainless steel and usually comes mirror-finished, although all other options are available, including thickness of steel and mild steel. Historically, this design is based on the popular armored legs of the XIV century, which makes the armor suitable for most popular medieval martial arts formats.
