The chest size width stretches from 15 inches to 21 inches across when the hauberk is measured flat. It is comparable to a men's size Medium with thicker clothing like a sweater on underneath, otherwise it may fit a men's shirt size large without substantial clothing underneath (like just a cotton t-shirt). The hauberk is a short-sleeve design. This item does meet the minimum requirements for role play. However, please note that it is more costume clothing article than protective gear.
